Research Study – Academic Acceleration in International Settings - Nicholas Colangelo, PhD
Dear Colleagues, The Institute for Research and Policy on Acceleration (IRPA) at The University of Iowa's Connie Belin and Jacqueline N. Blank International Center for Gifted Education and Talent Development is conducting a research study about academic acceleration in international settings. Academic acceleration is the practice of delivering advanced or faster paced curriculum to high-ability ("gifted") students. Participants in the study will be asked to complete a 25-question survey that asks about the practices and policies of academic acceleration in your country, your own attitude toward academic acceleration, and your awareness and use of materials from IRPA. If you are a parent, an educator who works with gifted students, or an educational professional in regular education settings, please take a moment to consider participation in our study.
